The Little Mermaid is a beautiful Disney animated film. The music is catchy and the plot is enchanting in this animated movie. Ariel is a lovely hostess for our adventure 'Under the Sea.1

Disney's The Little Mermaid movie is based on Hans Christian Anderson's story by the same name. It marked the beginning of the period known by film historians as the Disney Renaissance. The human characters remind one of Barbie and Ken, in animation.

Disney's animated film is given credit for helping to breathe life back into the animated film genre with its cute Princess Ariel and its humorous misinformation provided by Scuttle the seagull. It allows us to travel by way of animation to the world of sea witches, rescued sailors shipwrecked by storms and rescued by princesses.
